A hidden treasure in Sharjah

In March, we stayed at a beautiful hotel in Sharjah. I still can’t believe the price – three nights with breakfast included for less than two hundred pounds for both of us. Normally, this place costs around three hundred per person per night.

The hotel looked like a traditional village, with stone walls, wooden doors and peaceful courtyards. One of the staff told us that a family used to live there before it was restored into a luxury boutique hotel.

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome. One day, we had a private chauffeur who took us to the beach and picked us up – just us, no extra charge. On our last night, we checked in very late, and because it wasn’t peak season, it felt like the whole place was ours. Walking through the quiet corridors, lit by soft lanterns, felt magical – almost like stepping back in time.

The calm, the kindness of the staff, and the beauty of the place made it one of those moments that stays with you long after you leave. It reminded me that true luxury isn’t just about how a place looks, but how it makes you feel.
